0.0.6: Magma in Claude
Ask Claude about a project's Google Analytics and get the answer from Magma, as a dated table.
New
- Add Magma to Claude. In Claude Desktop or Claude Code, add a custom connector with the address
https://mcp.magma.tm/mcp. Claude opens Magma's sign-in and consent page: sign in with your Magma email code and approve the connection. - Your projects in the conversation. Claude lists the projects in your workspace and names the one it reports on in every answer, so a question about one store never reads another.
- GA4 reports. Ask for sessions, users, conversions or revenue by channel, page, device or day, over any period. Magma answers from the property linked to the project, with Google's own totals and a comparison with the previous period when you ask for one.
- A table you can copy. In Claude Desktop, results appear as a table card in light or dark theme, with one Copy button that copies Markdown.
- Every answer is traceable. Each report carries a run id, the period and the property it came from.
Privacy and access
- Claude reads only. No Magma tool changes your projects, connections or anything in Google Analytics.
- Claude acts as you: it sees only the workspaces and projects your account can see, and every call checks that again.
- Magma never gives Claude your Google credentials. Access tokens issued to Claude are short-lived; expired and revoked connection credentials are removed automatically.
Good to know
- To disconnect, remove the Magma connector in Claude's settings.
- Reports are limited to 30 a minute per project to protect your Google Analytics quota.
